Who we are

Barbershop9Nine (Barbershop 9NINE), Hogestede 7, 4701JD Roosendaal, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce (KVK) number 90901835, is responsible for the processing of personal data described in this policy.

Questions about your data? Email info@barbershop9nine.nl or call +31 6 42662560.

What data we process and why

Contact by phone, email or WhatsApp. When you contact us we receive your name, phone number or email address and the content of your message. We use this only to answer your question or arrange your appointment (legal basis: taking steps at your request before an agreement / performance of an agreement).

Online booking. Appointments are booked through Knipklok. Knipklok processes the details you enter there (such as your name, phone number and email address) and shares them with us so we can serve you. See knipklok.nl for their privacy policy.

Visiting this website. Our hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit in server logs. This is needed to deliver the website and keep it secure (legal basis: legitimate interest).

Cookies and Google Maps

This website does not use tracking or analytics cookies and does not set cookies of its own.

The map in our contact section is an embedded Google Maps map. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and may place cookies. We have no control over this. See Google’s privacy policy.

Links to Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, Google reviews and Knipklok take you to those platforms. Their own privacy policies apply there.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We only share it with parties we need to run our business: our booking platform (Knipklok), WhatsApp (Meta) when you message us there, our email and hosting providers, and Google if you choose to load the map. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union; in that case they rely on the safeguards required by the GDPR.

How long we keep your data

We keep personal data no longer than necessary for the purposes above. Messages and contact details are deleted when they are no longer needed for your appointment or question, unless we are legally required to keep them longer (for example tax records, which we must keep for 7 years).

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details above. We will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Security

We take appropriate measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access. This website is served exclusively over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always available on this page.
